Small Group Covenant

The Small Group Covenant is to set agreed upon values for each small group leader and member so that trust, commitment, and growth can be experienced in every small group.

Core Values:

Priority: For the Fall semester, the group remains a priority commitment in your life unless there are emergencies that come up.

Confidentiality: Anything that is said or shared in group is to never be repeated outside of group without permission.

Participation: Everyone is encouraged to participate in group discussions and listen first. No one is permitted to dominate conversations.

Respect: Everyone is given right to his/her opinions, while all questions are encouraged and respected. If there are issues or concerns, the member will approach the leader and follow a Matthew 18:15-17 model.

Welcome: We agree as a group to invite and welcome others to join the group, no matter their background or faith journey.

Accountability: We agree to let others in our group keep us accountable in smaller groups that will meet outside of the normal group.

Serve: We encourage one another to serve whether in the local church or in the community in word and deed.
