Serve at the Breakthrough Christmas Store

Come serve with us at the Breakthrough Christmas Store! The Breakthrough Christmas Store provides families in Chicago’s East Garfield Park neighborhood, as well as participants in Breakthrough’s programs, a dignified and affordable way to purchase gifts for their loved ones this Christmas season. 

We need your help setting up the Christmas Store! We will be unloading and setting up the store on Thursday, December 18th from 6:00-9:00pm. Pizza and drinks will be provided for dinner at 6:00pm before we start working.

Attention families -- this is an event for you, too! We recommend this event for ages 3+ but younger kids are also more than welcome to come! We invite you to come Thursday evening and help us as we help decorate the FamilyPlex for the store and make Christmas cards and organize the gifts once the big boxes are done being moved. Come at 6:30pm for pizza and stay as long as you can to help us!
